Sadly we have to advise that we are not able to stage the Annual Shepherd's Walk in the near future.

Previously held Annually on the 3rd weekend of July

This is an unfortunate decision, which has not come easily, but we feel we must have the best interests in mind for members, volunteers and guests, as well as giving consideration to the challenges of staging the event which is conducted on private properties.

We apologise to those who had hoped that we could again stage this very popular event – however we have made the decision we need to postponne, for this year at least.  We are sincerely grateful to the many keen walkers and supporters who have been involved with this historic walk, those who helped with the running of the day and of course to the land owners who have assisted us with staging of this for many years.

The memory of Aboriginal tribe’s people and Chinese Shepherds who lost their lives in conflict circa 1850 in the Kerry Valley is honoured by THE SHEPHERD’S WALK, previously organised by The Historical Society of Beaudesert through The Beaudesert Museum.
